I’m looking for a nice gesture for a friend and the idea I came up with was to deliver her favorite colored teddy bear, with maybe like a note, or flowers, or something. I don’t know, I’m not too strict, i’m open to better ideas as well.

I worked for a florist(1-800-flowers) for mothers day. I did 204 deliveries over a 5 day span. He only paid me for 202. And in addition to that I was deducted pay for two deliveries the customers claimed they didnt receive. They showed up as order numbers on my checkstub followed by a negative amount being deducted. One was a 4 dollar deduction(i got paid four dollars a delivery). The other was a deduction for 89.99$. When the customers are not home i was instructed to leave the flowers at their door. I have no idea what happened to be honest because my employer wont call me back to discuss this. But all i can think of is maybe someone stole their flowers or the customer simply lied to get a refund. At any rate, am I responsible to pay full price for the flowers? Is there anything i can do? I feel cheated and that my employer is skimming of the top because I was temporary help for the holiday.

My fiance (USMC Special Forces) left for Afghanistan last week. I love him with all my heart but started to have doubts about our relationship about 2 months ago. He had always put our wedding off for whatever reason and would not tell me how he felt about me unless I would ask. Don’t get me wrong he has always been loving and I know he loves me but something was missing and I could not put my finger on it. I think it was stress due to the impending deployment to some degree.
But here is the thing that makes me wonder a little and I need some advice please. Before he left he set up flower deliveries for me every month on the 15 , next when he has had a chance to email me he tells me how much he already misses me and how he cannot wait to come home to me and is looking forward to our lives together. He has been different in what he says and how he is, and I do not understand why. Could it be that the saying is correct “you do not know what you have till its gone?” I have no intentions on leaving him not now not ever, but I am wondering just the same. Can it be he regrets not getting married and that his ccommitmentwill be deeper by the time he returns. He has been in 13 years and also told me that he used to look forward to deploying but this time is different and he knows it is because of me

I got a delivery from 1800-flowers and it is a bamboo-like plant. It has three individual stalks that look like bamboo and it has a bunch of shiny green leaves on the top. It came with a glass bowl and rocks. There are no roots so I’m assuming they wont stay alive for long, but do I put them in water or just the rocks? How much water do you think? Sunlight? Sorry there aren’t any pictures… Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone I love somebody and she loves me and then she settled in Thailand I couldnt go yet as I have to complete my studies here. But I had said I will meet you when my studies are complete she agreed and said take your time and dont worry about anything.. Even though she was in another country we had kept regular contact for over 2 years. I had regularly called her and she did the same. I really loved her that I wanted to spend my life with her. On my birthdays she would always send me gifts and I had done the same. On valentines day she sent me a large bouquet of flowers. She has got 2 mobile numbers. I had rang the first on the 12/05/2010 and it was perfectly fine. But then I sent a text on the 18/05/2010 but got a failed delivery report. However the protests in Bangkok started getting violent on 13/05/2010. I had read the news that the Thai goverment had put Bangkok under curfew and that electric, mobile signals and water was being cut in the are she is living in. The main site of the protesters were in her area. I was really worried and checked the news that people were throwing burning dies and a lot of rioting was going on in her area. However I had sent another message and had got a failed delivery report and then I called her 2 days ago but it went to voicemail. There were a total of 85 deaths and around 1,900 people were injured.
Im really worried about her and hoping she is not hurt. I sent her an email right now in how she is and how the situation over there is.
However the goverment has not put the mobile coverage back in her area but it still goes to voicemail.
Its unusual for her 2 mobiles phones to be switched off but I dont know whether she has changed her number or not as she has had the same numbers for over 8 years.
I do not have any other contact including her familes. I only have her 2 mobiles numbers and her email ID. What is your opinion on this please.
